Die Werke des Sampler sind im Rahmen der ersten Veranstaltungsreihe DRIVE IN nach der Eröffnung des ZiMMT in Leipzig entstanden. Die Aufnahmen sind binaural abgemischt und am besten über Kopfhörer zu hören.

DRIVE In ist eine Konzert- und Klanginstallationsreihe, initiiert vom ZiMMT e.V. mit dem Fokus auf 3D Audio Formaten. Insgesamt fünf Konzertabende und fünf Ausstellungen präsentieren außergewöhnliche Konzerte und Klanginstallationen von 16 lokalen und internationalen SolokünstlerInnen bzw. Duos. Allen gemeinsam ist dabei die intensive künstlerische Auseinandersetzung mit Klang im Raum als kompositorisches Stilmittel unter Verwendung von Spatial/ 3D Audio. Alle KünstlerInnen bewegen sich rund um die Genres experimentelle elektronische Musik, Klangkunst und Soundscape Komposition.

The works on the sampler were created as part of the first event series DRIVE IN after the opening of the ZiMMT in Leipzig. The recordings are binaurally mixed and best heard through headphones.

DRIVE In is a concert and sound installation series initiated by ZiMMT e.V. with a focus on 3D audio formats. A total of five concert evenings and five exhibitions present extraordinary concerts and sound installations by 16 local and international solo artists or duos. What they all have in common is an intensive artistic exploration of sound in space, as a compositional stylistic device using Spatial/ 3D Audio. All artists move around the genres of experimental electronic music, sound art and soundscape composition.
